The final copy of the four-door of the American brand was the Scat Pack Widebody option in gray.
About the fact that a couple of Dodge cars — the Charger sedan and the Challenger coupe — will leave the line, it became known last summer: the 2023 model year was their last. However, the brand decided to send them into retirement solemnly, so it launched the so-called Last Call farewell series (translated from English as “last opportunity” or “last call”). As a result, the four-door appeared in special versions of the Charger Super Bee, Charger R/T Scat Pack Swinger and Charger King Daytona.

Now the career of the Dodge Charger has officially ended: the final copy has rolled off the assembly line of the plant in Brampton (Canada), it is the Scat Pack Widebody version of the sedan, the body is painted in Destroyer Gray. Note that the current generation four-door appeared in 2011; over the past year it has sold about 1.8 million cars.
The base for the Dodge sports sedan is a 304-horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with a torque of 358 Nm. The mid-range and top-end versions have V8 HEMI options with a volume of 5.7, 6.4 and 6.2 liters, the maximum output is 818 hp. (959 Nm). The pair is offered with an eight-speed hydromechanical automatic transmission, the drive wheels are rear.
Earlier it became known that the Dodge Challenger muscle car had also been retired; the last example was the “hot” version of the SRT Demon 170. In addition, last week the large sedan Chrysler 300 (modification 300C with a V8 left the assembly line in the first half of December).
Thus, the auto giant Chrysler, which owns the Dodge and Chrysler brands, got rid of the old platform: we are talking about the Chrysler LD “trolley” version, on which the four-doors were based, as well as the Chrysler LA, which was the basis of the coupe. If the projects of the successors to the listed models are officially given the green light, they will receive a new platform from the current Stellantis portfolio.
According to preliminary data, all three models sent to retirement will have successors, and in all cases – with a fully electric “filling”. If we talk about the “green” Charger, its prototype was presented in August 2022. It is expected that the production version will be visually similar in many ways to the Charger Daytona SRT concept.
It is assumed that the electric sports car will receive 400-volt and 800-volt power plants, probably all versions will be all-wheel drive, then they will have at least two electric motors (one on each axis). In the first case, the models will have two base power options: 462 and 598 hp, in the second – more than 700 hp. The production version of the electric train is expected to debut in 2024.
