MOSCOW, December 25 From February 23 to 25, the 2nd International Documentary Film Festival “RT.Doc: Time of Heroes”, dedicated to the heroes of a special military operation, will be held in the Digital Business Space in Moscow, the press service of the show reported.
The first festival opened on the anniversary of the beginning of the Northern Military District. In 2023, it was held in seven cities of Russia: Moscow, Krasnodar, Kazan, St. Petersburg, Irkutsk, Kursk, Volgograd.
The festival also went to Donbass, screenings took place along the front line in five divisions of the Russian Armed Forces, as well as in a hospital. In addition, “RT.Doc: Time of Heroes” was first organized in Turkey, where RT opened a new bureau in 2023. In total, the festival attracted more than 11 thousand spectators.

The II International Documentary Film Festival “RT.Doc: Time of Heroes” will open in Moscow in the Digital Business Space (47 Pokrovka Street) on February 23, Defender of the Fatherland Day. The program will include about 20 documentaries about the heroes of a special military operation: military personnel, doctors, volunteers, military correspondents, and cultural figures.
These are films not only from the RT channel, but also from independent documentarians and military correspondents of Russian federal channels, as well as authors from other countries. There will be meetings with the creators and characters of the films, discussions and round tables with experts and public opinion leaders.
As part of the I International Festival “RT.Doc: Time of Heroes” not only film screenings were held, but also business program events. The speakers were pranksters Vovan and Lexus, TV presenter, general director of the SPAS TV channel Boris Korchevnikov, actress and public figure Yana Poplavskaya, TV presenter, author documentarianAnna Chapman, Russian writer, journalist German Sadulaev, theater and film actor, resident of the Insight People production center Alexander Martynov, journalist, political scientist Alexander Kazakov< /strong>, Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan Irina Volynets,radio host, co-founder of the literary award “GLAVKNIGA” Vyacheslav Konovalov and others.
On stage in different cities musical friends of the festival performed – Sergey Galanin and the group “SerGa”, neoclassical composer Igor Skvortsov, Yulia Chicherina, rock band “Zveroboy”, singer Uta, world famous violinist Marianna Vasilyeva.
