The new version of the five-door of the returning Russian brand will reach dealers at the beginning of the coming year.
The Moskvich brand was revived last year. Her first-born was the Moskvich 3 crossover; it has a completely “green” modification with the index 3e. The second model of the brand was the Moskvich 6 liftback, which was declassified back in April. Serial production started in early September, production was established at the facilities of the former Renault plant, which is located in the capital of the Russian Federation. Sales of the starting and middle versions (Comfort and Business, respectively) have already started, but the top version will have to wait.

The press service of Moskvich today said that at the beginning of next year Moskvich 6 will reach dealers in the richest configuration – Techno. This five-door is equipped with a 1.5-liter TGDI turbo engine with direct fuel injection, its output is 174 hp and maximum torque is 280 Nm. This engine is paired with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive only.
Let us remind you that the “six” engine line also includes a starting 1.5-liter gasoline four-cylinder turbo engine with distributed fuel injection. Its power is 136 hp and maximum torque is 200 Nm. The engine is combined with a continuously variable automatic transmission.
As we reported earlier, the Moskvich 6 liftback is the result badge engineering of the Sehol Yao model (this is one of the varieties of the “Chinese” JAC J7). It is worth noting that the Chinese concern JAC is currently using the Sehol brand in its homeland, but plans to abandon it in the future.
The Techno version differs from simpler options even visually. This liftback has a horizontal LED strip under the edge of the hood, which connects the headlights; welcome light animation and brand logo projected in the front door area. The rear has been refreshed with dynamic turn indicators in the rear lights. This five-door also received a panoramic roof with a sunroof and 18-inch black alloy wheels.

The interior of the top-end version of the Moskvich 6 was equipped with atmospheric lighting, and its sound system was equipped with eight speakers. There is an electric tailgate and a 12V socket in the cargo area. The Techno package received additional safety systems, such as blind spot monitoring, cross-collision warning functions when reversing, a possible rear collision, and a danger warning when opening doors. The car was also equipped with curtain airbags and electric locking of the rear doors (to prevent children from opening them).

The recommended retail price of Moskvich 6 in the new top-end Techno configuration is 3,116,000 rubles; for the Business version with the same “filling” they ask for 2,976,000 rubles. Purchasing the same version, but with a 136-horsepower engine, will cost 2,826,000 rubles, and the cost of the starting Comfort version is 2,626,000 rubles. Prices do not include current promotions and discounts.
