Relatives of those killed in Belgorod will be paid three million rubles each

BELGOROD, January 1 Relatives of those killed in the Ukrainian shelling of Belgorod will be paid 3 million rubles, and those affected 500 thousand, the governor said Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

“We are forming lists of payments to the families of the dead and wounded. Relatives of the dead will be paid 3 million rubles. We are also paying the same amount to military personnel who died during the SVO. After the doctors’ conclusion, we will pay 500 thousand rubles, which are due if moderate or severe harm is caused to health . Just like the military,” Gladkov wrote.⠀

The governor clarified that payments will begin immediately after the end of the New Year and Christmas weekend.

On Saturday afternoon, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced that the Ukrainian military had shelled the center of Belgorod. According to the latest official data, announced on Monday evening, as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike, 25 people were killed, including 5 children, and 109 were injured.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that air defense systems intercepted the Vilkha missiles and most of the Vampire MLRS rockets; several rockets and cluster parts from the downed Vilkha missiles hit Belgorod. As noted in the military department, in the event of a direct hit by the Vilkha MLRS cluster munitions on Belgorod, and not their fragments, the losses among the civilian population would be disproportionately greater.
