SARATOV, January 3Investigators in Saratov opened a criminal case for the provision of unsafe services after a four-year-old child was injured and received an electric shock from a New Year's street installation, the regional department of the RF IC reported on Telegram- channel.
Earlier, the head of the city, Lada Mokrousova, reported that a four-year-old boy was hospitalized on Tuesday evening after receiving an electric shock near a lighted street figure installed for the New Year holidays. According to preliminary investigation data, a child on Stolypina Avenue in the center of Saratov, while taking photographs, touched a luminous street installation, from which he received thermal burns.
«On the instructions of the acting head of the investigation department, Dmitry Aleksandrovich Kostin… a criminal case has been initiated regarding the provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life or health of consumers, resulting in bodily harm to a minor — under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.. «Investigators inspected the scene of the incident, seized and studied the necessary documentation regulating the installation and operation of light objects,» the message says.
