MOSCOW, January 3 The Russian government has extended the simplified procedure for importing electronic devices and equipment into Russia until the end of 2024, according to the Cabinet of Ministers’ Telegram channel.

It is noted that this measure is aimed at providing goods containing encryption equipment: smartphones, tablets, laptops, computers, microcircuits and walkie-talkies.
“The simplified procedure concerns the procedure for issuing permits for the import of specified products, as well as their presentation to customs authorities,” the message adds.
