MOSCOW, January 4 A fire occurred on Thursday morning at a transformer substation in the north-east of Moscow, consumers are being switched to a backup power supply scheme, the press service reported capital headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
“At 05:44 a fire was reported on Vysokovoltny Proezd, building 1/39. Upon arrival of fire and rescue units, it was established that a fire was occurring at the transformer substation,” the message says.
According to the department, individual consumers are switching to a backup power supply scheme. There were no reports of casualties.
