MINSK, January 4 President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the People's Artist of the USSR, monumental sculptor Zurab Tsereteli on his 90th birthday.
“Thanks to your natural talent and tireless work, you have created unique works that are distinguished by your original style, innovation and high skill. Your work has rightfully earned international recognition and has made a significant contribution to the development of modern monumental and fine art,” the congratulations say, which is published on the website of the head of the Belarusian state.
Lukashenko expressed confidence that Tsereteli’s experience and fruitful multifaceted activities will continue to contribute to the strengthening of Belarusian-Russian cultural ties.
