MOSCOW, January 4. Soviet theater and film actor Yuri Medvedev died at the age of 83, the Kino-teatr.ru portal reported.
The cause of the artist’s death is not specified.
Medvedev was born on October 31, 1941. In 1966 he graduated from the department of clownery, speech and musical eccentric genres of circus and variety art of the State School of Circus and Variety Arts, as well as the higher directing courses of GITIS in 1975.
Since 1964, Medvedev has worked at the Theater on Taganka. Five years later he began his film career. He starred in the film “The One” directed by Joseph Kheifits, where Vladimir Vysotsky played with him.
