Donald Trump said Nikki Haley would “sell out” American voters, just like she did to him.

Donald Trump lashed out at Republican rival Nikki Haley, saying she would betray US voters the same way she betrayed him.

Ahead of the Iowa campaign, the former president retreated to resignation launched an attack on his former UN ambassador, who is vying with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as Trump's main challenger for the Republican nomination.

«Nikki would sell you out just like she sold me,» Trump said. he recalled Ms. Haley once saying she would never run against him.

Mr. Trump also attacked one of Ms. Haley's donors, Reed Hoffman, the co-founder of LinkedIn, whom he called » slob.»

A supporter of Democrats and Biden, Hoffman gave $250,000 to the pro-Haley Super Pac Committee.

Mr. Trump also dismissed Haley, whose foreign policy is closer to a traditional bipartisan approach, as a “globalist” in the pocket of establishment donors.

“She likes the whole world,” Mr. Trump said. “I like America first.”

Recent polls have shown Ms. Haley closing in on Mr. Trump in New Hampshire, with one poll narrowing the gap to just four points.

That led to Mr. Trump not only ramping up his rhetoric against Ms. Haley, but also spending $5 million on ads in New Hampshire attacking her.

“Isn’t that sweet?” Why is he spending so much time and money against me? she said Friday on Fox News.

At least in New Hampshire, she appears to be the only viable candidate who can “stop Trump.” She has the support of Chris Sununu, the state's popular Republican governor, who said Ms. Haley is gaining momentum in the race.

Ms. Haley's strong performance in the state has put pressure on Chris Christie, a former New Jersey state representative. Governor and Ron DeSantis to give her the opportunity to give her an advantage.

But neither of them is showing any signs of it.

“She’s a phony.”

Mr. DeSantis, whose re-election campaign malfunctions, resigned. stepped up its attack on Ms. Haley, focusing its efforts on Iowa.

Last week, he said his “bumper sticker” for those attending the Iowa caucuses read: “Donald Trump is running on his issues. Nikki Haley deals with the issues of her donors. I'm dealing with your problems.»

Mr. DeSantis stepped up his attack in a joint interview with the Des Moines Register and NBC News.

«I'm just thinking to myself. you know, “she’s fake.” You know, she doesn't have a specific set of beliefs.

“She'll come here. She tries to be outgoing, but she just doesn't understand Iowa. And I think that's becoming more and more clear.»

In Iowa, Mr. DeSantis and Ms. Haley have collectively spent more than $21 million in recent weeks attacking each other.

Ms. Haley described Mr. DeSantis as “too lame to lead,” and the Florida governor ran an ad calling her “sly Nikki Haley.”

As the two candidates attack each other friend, Mr. Trump looks unapproachable.

The latest poll, according to FiveThirtyEight, puts Trump at 61.8 percent, DeSantis at 12.1 percent and Haley at 11.2 percent.
