MOSCOW, January 7. The wife of actor Christian Oliver, Jessica Klepser, issued a statement in connection with the plane crash that claimed the lives of her husband and their two daughters.
A message from Klepser and her family was posted on the Instagram page of Wundabar Pilates*, the company she works for.
“
"We are deeply saddened by the tragic plane crash on January 4, 2024 that took the lives of our beloved family members. Our daughters Madita (12) and Annick (10) were returning from a vacation in the Caribbean with their father Christian when the single-engine plane they were traveling on developed engine problems and crashed into the ocean,” the statement said.
As the actor’s relatives noted, his death will be deeply felt by everyone who knew him. «Please respect the family's request for privacy during this difficult time,» the post read.
Instead of flowers, everyone was asked to make a donation through a crowdfunding platform.
Previously, the national police of St. Vincent and the Grenadines reported that four people, including the pilot and an American passenger with two children, crashed on Thursday on a private plane after taking off from the airport. Local fishermen and divers rushed to help, but no one could be saved. As the TMZ portal clarified, 51-year-old Oliver and his two daughters died in the plane crash.
