Miyazaki's The Boy and the Bird wins Golden Globe

WASHINGTON, January 8The latest cartoon by Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki, “The Boy and the Bird,” was awarded the Golden Globe in the category “Best Animated Film,” the award ceremony broadcast by CBS.
For the title of best animated film, “Suzume Closing the Doors” by Japanese director Makoto Shinkai, Disney’s “Elementary” and “The Heart’s Wish”, “Spider-Man: Web of Universes” and “Super Mario Bros. at the Movies” also competed for the title of best animated film.

The Golden Globes are awarded annually in more than 20 categories for achievements in films and TV series.
