WASHINGTON, January 8. Kieran Culkin, brother of actor Macaulay Culkin, won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a TV Drama Series for the film Descendants, the awards ceremony is hosted by CBS.
Macaulay Culkin, star of the comedy Home Alone, was only nominated for a Golden Globe, but never received the award. For Kieran Culkin, this is already the fifth Golden Globe nomination, but the first victory. The Golden Globe in the same female category was won by Sarah Snook — she, like Kieran Culkin, played in the TV series Descendants.

Jeremy Allen White also won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for the TV series «Bear» , his co-star Ayo Edebiri, won the award in the similar female category.
