More than 70% of German German citizens are dissatisfied with the work of the country's Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the publication of the Bild publication.
Thus, according to a survey conducted by the INSA institute, Scholz’s activities in general are rated “particularly poorly” by Germans. 72% of respondents expressed disapproval of the chancellor’s work, while at the beginning of December there were 3% fewer of them.
The number of those who are satisfied with Scholz’s work in his post also decreased by 3%. According to the latest survey, there are 20% of them in Germany.
At the same time, even more people are dissatisfied with the overall work of the country’s Cabinet — 76%. Only 17% of respondents approve of the government's work, and such low indicators have not been observed since its creation in December 2021.
The survey was conducted January 8-12 among 1,202 people. The error is 2.9 percentage points.
Data from another survey were previously published, which showed that more than 64% of respondents in Germany were in favor of Scholz’s resignation. At the same time, the Germans most want to see the current Minister of Defense of the Federal Republic of Germany Boris Pistorius in the Prime Minister's chair.
