Israeli hostage kidnapped on motorcycle pleads for rescue as two more captives killed

Noa Argamani was seen desperately calling for her partner as she was kidnapped on a motorcycle from a music festival

Young Israeli woman kidnapped by Hamas on a motorcycle at one in striking footage of the October 7 attacks, said two of her fellow hostages were killed in airstrikes.

Noa Argamani, 26, was last seen desperately calling for her partner as she was dragged away from a music festival during the massacre organized by terrorists.

In a new video released by Hamas on Monday, she said two other hostages – Yossi Sharabi, 53, and Itai Svirsky, 38 – were held with her and were killed in Israeli airstrikes.

Hamas earlier on Monday said two hostages had died in captivity and asked the public to “guess” who they are.

New video shows Ms Argamani pleading for rescue, saying food is running out in Gaza and water. He then cuts to images of the bloody body of one of the other hostages, presumably killed.

The Hamas video is likely aimed at putting more pressure on the Israeli government to stop the war in the Gaza Strip. It is one of a limited number of “proof of life” videos that Hamas has released during the Gaza war.

At least 136 Israelis are believed to still be held captive in the Gaza Strip after the terrorist group captured parts of Israel in a daring attack last October.

The Israeli government is under intense pressure from families to rescue the hostages while receiving US orders to curtail its activities in Gaza.

Ms Argamani said in a new video that she was held with two other hostages and Hamas al-Qassam brigade fighters at a site in the Gaza Strip before it was bombed by Israeli aircraft.

She said she and Mr. Svirsky were pulled out of the rubble alive, but Mr. Sharabi was not. It is unclear whether she was under duress while she spoke.

While they were being transferred to another location, their car was attacked, resulting in Svirsky's death.

“While we are still alive, bring us home,” Mr. Argamani said in Hebrew, her words echoed and carefully edited by the Hamas propaganda team.

    “Don’t kill me”

A young woman with long dark hair screaming “Don't kill me” as she was put on a motorcycle and abducted by Hamas militants became one of the first images of Hamas atrocities in Israel on October 7.

Monday's video ended with a close-up of the two corpses similar to Sharabi and Svirsky, who both lived in Kibbutz Be'eri.

The Israeli army criticized the new video, calling it “cruel.” using innocent hostages.”

Daniel Hagari, a military spokesman, also rejected Hamas' claim that the two hostages were killed in Israeli bombing, saying: “This is a Hamas lie.”

A group representing the families of the Israeli hostages has not confirmed reports of the deaths of the two men.

Talks between Israel and Hamas over the release of the hostages have stalled as the Israeli government has refused to accept Hamas's offer of a truce or any other long-term ceasefire in exchange for the release of hostages. Top Israeli officials, including the prime minister and defense minister, insist that a longer pause will allow Hamas to rest and regroup.
