A state of emergency was introduced in Voronezh after a night raid by enemy UAVs on the city. According to the Ministry of Defense, six aircraft were destroyed by air defense systems on duty over the territory of the region. 35 apartments in three ten-story buildings on Teplichnaya Street were damaged by falling debris. According to preliminary data, about 90 balcony and window structures require replacement in three ten-story buildings on Teplichnaya Street in the Sovetsky district. And in four houses on Ostrogozhskaya Street in the Leninsky district, more than 40 windows need to be replaced. “The dismantling of the damaged elements has already begun, as well as the restoration of the partially destroyed glazing of the entrances.” The temporary accommodation center organized at school No. 84 was not useful: people preferred to stay with relatives. According to Voronezh media, the child was in the room when a piece of drone flew onto the balcony. There was a fire that destroyed all the things stored there. The child has cut wounds to his arms, legs and neck. The girl received medical assistance on the spot and did not require hospitalization. However, doctors will continue to monitor her condition. A video also appeared on the Internet showing an apartment destroyed by the consequences of the arrival with a damaged desk and scattered toys. The entire floor in the apartment is strewn with fragments from a broken window.
According to the stories of Voronezh residents, the first UAVs were shot down at about two in the morning, the rest at about five in the morning. “Not the best morning,” Voronezh resident Marina shared with MK. – We heard very loud sounds about seven times. And the last one made the glass tremble. I know that the air defense worked, but there is no escape from the fragments. But my sister lives in another area, and she didn’t hear anything at all – she slept like the dead. Another sister’s dog went straight crazy at night, didn’t let her sleep, but she herself didn’t hear anything.”

Immediately after the explosion, car alarms went off in my area, the glass on the windows rattled, the dog hid deep under a chair and began whining in fear. It was very scary. I began to look around what to take with me in case of evacuation. She pulled on her home pants and began stuffing everything she needed into her bag. But the explosions continued, and this made it difficult to think clearly. The fear intensified even more when, over the course of several minutes, from 02:15 to 02:42, 10 explosions were counted. The Ministry of Defense reported at six in the morning that air defense systems on duty had destroyed six aircraft in the Voronezh region. But there were more claps. Most likely, I counted both the sound of the fired rocket and the impact on the target. There was a lull for more than two hours. And at 05:09 I saw another air defense missile from the balcony. The sound of a downed target reached me almost immediately, after 30 seconds. I never went to the shelter. I spent some time in the bathroom – I had previously read that you can also escape in the toilet. A very necessary place in times of fear.”
