Van’s “face” and interior were redone. At the same time, it is believed that the model retained the naturally aspirated 1.8.
The three-row compact van Chevrolet Spin has been produced in Brazil since 2012, it is a close relative of the Cobalt sedan, which is familiar to Russians (we also sold the four-door under the Ravon brand). The previous full restyling was carried out in 2018, and two years later the model was slightly refreshed. And now the modernized Spin has been announced once again: the local division of the brand has distributed a couple of brand photos. By the way, the manufacturer himself considers the model a crossover, but it is still an MPV.

The front of the Van was redrawn: Spin received a new radiator grille, bumper, hood and headlights. Moreover, according to current fashion, the LED head optics are separated, albeit not completely. The stern has not yet been shown, but spies have already come across camouflaged test samples — the headlights have also become different, although they were not designed as a single die.
Note that the official photos are signed as Spin Premier, that is, this is a top-end configuration. At the same time, the restyled car still has an unpainted plastic body kit, whereas previously it was the prerogative of the “off-road” version of the Spin Activ. That is, it is quite possible that a separate “crossover” option has been excluded from the range.

The interior has also been significantly redesigned. There is a new multimedia system with a large touchscreen, which is installed close to the virtual instrument panel (the pre-reform van has analog instruments); in addition, the tablet rises slightly above the new front panel, which is why the central air deflectors had to be moved lower. It was announced that the Chevrolet Spin will be offered with modern security systems, but the list has not yet been disclosed. As before, the compact van will be available in a five- or seven-seater version.
Chevrolet also said that the suspension and steering have been retuned. But not a word about the engine. Brazilian specialized media believe that Spin has retained the four-cylinder naturally aspirated 1.8, which traditionally for this country runs on both gasoline (106 hp) and ethanol (111 hp). In addition, the van could have a six-speed manual transmission back (the current model is only available with a 6-speed automatic transmission). Spin only comes with front-wheel drive.

Presentation of the updated Chevrolet Spin will be held until the end of March. Meanwhile, in 2024, the brand will introduce five more new products in Brazil. The remaining models have not yet been named; it is assumed that among the premieres will be the transformed S10 pickup (similar to the Colorado) and the Trailblazer SUV (not to be confused with the SUV of the same name).
