MOSCOW, January 18 New Year's film “Ivan Vasilyevich changes everything” was watched by 42.5 million viewers on TNT and in online cinemas Kinopoisk and Premier, the channel's press service reported.
The remake of the famous comedy by Leonid Gaidai turned out to be the highest-rated broadcast on TNT in the last five years and the highest a popular movie in 2023 on all TV channels among viewers from 14 to 44 years old.

"Ivan Vasilyevich changes everything" is an unprecedented project for television. We restored the scenery of the original film according to the drawings, restored the game props and sewed costumes using the same patterns,” said film producer Andrei Shelkov.
He admitted that the organizers approached every frame with great love and tribute , and the viewer appreciated it.
The comedy “Ivan Vasilyevich Changes His Profession” mixed different eras, legendary movie characters of yesteryear, and musical numbers.
More than 70 celebrities starred in the film, including Marina Kravets, Olga Buzova, Pavel Volya, Demis Karibidis, Timur Batrutdinov, Maxim Lagashkin and others.
Lyusya Chebotina, Vanya Dmitrienko, NILETTO and MIA BOYKA reincarnated as the ABBA quartet, Klava Koka as Barbie, Sergei Lazarev performed the song ” Gray Night” in French, and Nikita Kologrivy played the French king Louis XVI.
