Over six months, more than 4 thousand families applied for a mortgage using a QR code – without filling out an application form or providing documents, said Kirill Varentsov, vice president of DOM.RF Bank. Borrowers scanned a QR code at the office of partners or developers and in a matter of minutes received a comprehensive bank decision on all existing mortgage programs.
The service is most popular among Moscow residents – they accounted for half of the applications for mortgages using a QR code. Among the leading regions are also the Moscow Region (10%), the Rostov and Tyumen regions (about 20% in equal proportions), as well as the Krasnodar Territory and the Tver region (5% each).
“Mortgage via QR code has become another link in a seamless customer journey. Most borrowers, if they have an electronic signature, go through virtually all registration procedures online – from choosing real estate, applications and signing documents to registering the transaction in Rosreestr and issuing an e-mortgage,” noted Kirill Varentsov.
Every third client who took out a loan by submitting an application using a QR code purchased housing within the framework of the “Preferential mortgage for new buildings.” About 30% of borrowers used the program for IT specialists. About 20% of clients chose “Family Mortgage”. Another 12% came from mortgages on the secondary market, 7% from new buildings without government support.
