CHELYABINSK, January 19 Two people turned to doctors for help after a fire at a market in Chelyabinsk; they refused hospitalization, the press service of the regional Ministry of Health reported.
The market caught fire in the center of Chelyabinsk on Friday evening. As the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported, shopping arcades in the market next to the Europe-Asia shopping center were on fire. The fire occurred after the market closed; there were no more people in the pavilions. The fire area was 1.2 thousand square meters, open burning was eliminated.
“At the Eastern City market, where the fire occurred, two emergency medical teams were on duty. Two market employees who had inhaled combustion products turned to doctors for help. After examination, both victims refused hospitalization,” – the message says.
At the moment, one ambulance team has been released, the other continues to be on duty, as specified in the message.
