MOSCOW, January 23 Roscosmos is ready to carry out the first launch of the Angara rocket from the Vostochny cosmodrome in the first ten days of April 2024, reported in Tuesday General Director of Roscosmos Yuri Borisov.
«We are ready, probably in the first ten days of April, to launch the Angara. The rocket is already at Vostochny with an upper stage. This will be a new era, a new page in the development of the modern Russian Vostochny cosmodrome,» Borisov said at the plenary session Royal readings.
He added that construction work at the Angara missile launch complex on Vostochny is 99% complete. Comprehensive testing is also being completed.
It was previously reported that the first launch of the Angara from Vostochny could take place in the first quarter of 2024. The complex has been under construction there since 2018.
