Pop MMA fighter nicknamed Venom fell from the 10th floor and survived: details

MOSCOW, January 25. On Wednesday it became known about an incident in Rostov-on-Don that almost led to the death of the famous pop MMA fighter Magomed Zainalov. According to a colleague of “Venom” (Zaynalov’s nickname — editor’s note) Eduard Kuzminov, the athlete fell from the 10th floor and ended up in intensive care a week before the next fight. Kuzminov was supposed to be the victim’s opponent — the latter is now praying for his opponent’s speedy recovery.
Telegram channels completed the picture of the incident. It turned out that Zainalov wanted to help the cat. There was also information that the owner of the car on which the athlete fell intends to sue the fighter, because such incidents do not fall under the category of “insured event.”

Later, the athlete’s manager Vitaly Tarasov spoke about the events in Rostov-on-Don on social networks, talking about the injuries received by the client:

"At the moment, Magomed’s condition is stable. I am in touch with my family. Magomed is conscious under the supervision of doctors. He has broken legs and pelvis.»

Closer to midnight, Zainalov himself made the first comment, publishing a story on Instagram* (the activities of Meta (social networks Facebook and Instagram) are prohibited in Russia as extremist):

"Greetings to everyone. Praise be to the Almighty, I am alive today. Everyone saw everything, I just want to say words of gratitude to each of you who support in word and deed. You have no idea how pleased I am. As soon as it gets a little better, I’ll get in touch and tell you everything. Thank you again.»

A statement was made by the Hardcore Fighting Championship, in which the athlete has been competing since 2021 (four victories in 15 fights according to different rules; professional MMA record — 5-9 ). The press service stated that they had already provided financial assistance to Zainalov and support to the “Venom” family:

"Magomed "Venom" Zainalov slipped and fell from the 10th floor onto a machine that softened his fall. The Hardcore FC League and the fighter’s manager Vitaly Tarasov are in constant contact with him and his family. Magomed remains conscious and under the supervision of specialists. He has broken legs and pelvis. Doctors describe his condition as stable. The League has provided all the necessary financial assistance and support to his family,” the statement notes.
