KRASNOYARSK, January 27 The police suspect a student of one of the Krasnoyarsk schools of writing a comment containing a false report about an act of terrorism to a fake anonymous message allegedly about the threat of an impending terrorist attack in a school institution, which unknown persons sent on January 23 to parent chats.
On Thursday, the region's anti-terrorism commission reported that anonymous messages with fake threats about acts of terrorism were received en masse in parent chats of Krasnoyarsk schoolchildren, and law enforcement officials are looking for the authors. According to her, on January 23, “anonymous messages about acts of terrorism were received through Krasnoyarsk parent chats on social networks.” Official departments denied this information.

The mayor's office asked residents to responsibly respond to the legal demands of local law enforcement officers, to show calm and vigilance, and to rely on information from official sources of information.

“However, on January 24, the duty station of the police department No. 9 of the Krasnoyarsk Municipal Internal Affairs Ministry of Russia received a message from the director of one of the city’s schools. He said that under a publication about the spread of fakes in the official community of an educational institution on the social network, an unknown user left a comment confirming the danger of causing harm to the school,” the message says.
According to the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, law enforcement officers checked the information and did not find any dangerous objects. During operational activities, police established that the comment was left from an account belonging to a student at this school. A cell phone and computer were found and seized in the teenager’s apartment, the department reports.
«In relation to the schoolboy, the investigative department No. 9 of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia «Krasnoyarsk» opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Article 207 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
