MOSCOW, January 24 Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin presents the Russian government awards in the field of culture for 2023, the correspondent reports.
«This year, seven projects were awarded government prizes. Each of them is a real event for adults, for children, for professionals, for amateurs. In them, the authors turn to the classical heritage and folk art, preserve the memory of difficult times in Russian history, find the exact words and bright images to tell people about the main thing in their lives,” said Mishustin.
He noted that he was especially pleased: the ceremony coincided Happy birthday to one of the laureates, Yuri Bashmet.
“You have achieved great heights in your skill. And it is important, I would say priceless, that you also share your talent and knowledge with aspiring musicians, implement dozens of charitable and educational projects. Your active civic position evokes sincere respect,” said Mishustin.
Government awards in the field of culture have been awarded annually since 2005. Each year, seven prizes are awarded in the amount of 3 million rubles each.
For holding a requiem concert on the day of the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War «June 22. Exactly at 4 am» the prize was awarded to the author of the project, artistic director and chief conductor of the concert, artistic director of the State Symphony Orchestra «New Russia» Yuri Bashmet, co-author of the project, its general producer, director of the State Symphony Orchestra «New Russia» Dmitry Grinchenko and chief director of the project Sergei Shirokov.
For the creation of the museum center «Moscow House of Dostoevsky» the prize is received by the author of the project, director of the Dahl State Museum of the History of Russian Literature Dmitry Bak, for the production of the play «I am Sergei Obraztsov» — the author of the project, director of the State Academic Central Puppet Theater named after Obraztsov Elena Bulukova, co-author project, production director Ekaterina Obraztsova and heir to Sergei Alimov, chief artist of the Obraztsov Puppet Theater Natalia Avgustinovich (for Alimov).
The prize was also awarded to the author of the social project “Circus for Village Children” Sergei Belyakov.
For hosting the VI World Folklore Festival, the award goes to the creative director of the festival, director of the State Russian House of Folk Art named after Polenov Tamara Purtova, chief coordinator of the festival programs, deputy director of the Russian House of Folk Art Andrey Belyaev, artistic director of the festival, professor of the Ufa State Institute of Arts named after Zagir Ismagilov Amina Shafikova .
For the international festival of folklore and traditional culture «Mountaineers» the prize is given to the head (author) and director of the project, director of the Republican House of Folk Art Mariyan Mugadova, music director and head of the project's folklore programs, head of the art history department of the Institute of Language, Literature and art named after Tsadasy Elmira Abdullaeva and the artistic director of the project, member of the public organization «Dagestan branch of the Union of Composers of Russia» Zarema Butaeva.
For the implementation of the national one-act ballet «Under the Sky of the Vainakhs» the prize is received by the performers of the main roles Adam Abubakarov, Abu Demelkhanov and Adam Shabaev .
