ST. PETERSBURG, January 29 A resident of the Pskov region, who lived with the corpses of her children in the same house, had her arrest extended and new charges brought, reports the United press service of the regional courts.
““For a Velikoluchanka woman accused of committing the brutal murder of her three children born in 2015, 2019 and 2022, the Pskov City Court extended a preventive measure in the form of detention for three months,” the press service reports.
It was previously reported that, according to investigators, in the period from August 2023 to November 23, 2023, the accused, while in an apartment in one of the houses in the city of Velikiye Luki, killed her sons aged one and a half and four years by strangulation. After this, the woman, leaving the bodies of the children in the apartment, moved with her two other young children to a private house in one of the villages of the Kuninsky district of the Pskov region, where she committed the murder of her eight-year-old daughter.
As the press service of the regional courts added, with the case of murder against a woman, criminal cases on the fact of improper performance of duties for raising minors, combined with harsh treatment of minors (Article 156 of the Criminal Code) are combined into one proceeding RF), and on the fact of theft of budget funds in the form of benefits for deceased children in the amount of 83,520 thousand rubles (Part 1 of Article 159.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
