«Bison» received the Golden Eagle Award for the best television series.

MOSCOW, January 26 The retro detective story «Bison. The Case of the Fashion Model» with Sergei Bezrukov became the best television series according to the Golden Eagle award in 2023, the actor himself received the award for the best male role in the series, the correspondent reports.
The XXII Golden Eagle Award Ceremony takes place in the first pavilion of the Mosfilm film concern.
“The best television series was “Bison,” announced TV presenter Alexander Akopov.

In the category “Best television series” the projects “Spy” and “Chaliapin” also competed for victory.

The best actress in a television series was Elena Yakovleva for her role in the project «Lady with a Dog», and the best actor was Sergei Bezrukov, who played the main character in the retro detective story «Bison».
“I received my first “Golden Eagle” in 2004 for Lieutenant Kravtsov in the TV series “Plot”. 20 years later I get it for Major Bessonov, my competitor was Colonel Rybin. There is hope in another 20 years to get it for a general,” joked Bezrukov .
For an actress in a supporting role, the award was given to Alexandra Rebenok, who played in the film “1993,” and the best supporting actor was given to Evgeniy Tkachuk for the film “The Righteous.”
Domestic films released in cinemas in Russia from December 1, 2022 to November 15, 2023, television films and series, the first showing of which was completed during the same period, were considered for the 2023 award.

The Golden Eagle Award was established by the National Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Russia in 2002. The selection of nominations is carried out by an expert council. The prize is awarded based on the voting results of full members and corresponding members of the academy.
