– Kupyansk is a city that is divided by water into two parts. Since the fall of last year, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been moving their headquarters to the right bank; some of the artillery is already located on the right bank. On the left side there are units that defend and hold back our onslaught.
– In general, the front in the Kupyansk direction is quite lively. To the south of the city there are three small settlements where there are crossings to the right bank. These bridges have been hit repeatedly, they have been partially destroyed, and in some places they are still in such a semi-working condition. This is a difficult situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The fact is that in the Avdeevka area their situation is, I would say, catastrophic, so they need to transfer reserves there. Accordingly, they are also forced to transfer reinforcements to the Kupyansk direction. For example, there is the 4th Tank Brigade with Abrams tanks, which have not yet appeared in battle. Therefore, I think that in the near future our 1st Tank Army will meet them in battle.
– On the front line, we really don’t yet feel that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have a disadvantage in manpower. Everything is fine with their personnel. Yes, the quality has decreased, yes, the soldiers are not as well trained as the previous units that fought in 2022-2023. But, nevertheless, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have personnel, and they are not getting smaller. Mobilization activities in Ukraine continue. Yes, people there are resisting, but still the territorial recruitment centers scoop up workers from factories, law enforcement officers, and even women, and mobilize them to the front.
