Aston Martin has been producing Vantage since the 50s of the last century. Let us remember that it became an independent model in 2005, when the production of the brand’s most affordable sports cars of the official first generation began. The premiere of the second generation car took place at the end of 2017, and now the manufacturer is preparing a new Vantage: camouflaged prototypes have already been captured by spy photographers.

Today, the Aston Martin press service announced the debut date: the new sports car will be presented in a couple of weeks, on February 12. The company accompanied the announcement with a single teaser showing part of the sidewall of the new Vantage. The angle of the photo allowed us to capture part of the front fender with “gills” and a decorative contrasting insert with the brand name, a side door with stampings, a recessed handle and a traditional exterior mirror with a black housing. The side skirts are designed to match, and in the background you can see the extended wheel arch.
By the way, last year the designer of Kolesa.ru suggested what the potential appearance of the new Aston Martin Vantage might be. It is possible that the sports car will receive new head optics of a more rounded and vertically elongated shape with three LED segments in each headlight. It is also expected that the new product will have a different hood with air duct slots and longitudinal stampings. The car is also tipped to have a set of wheels of a new original design.

It is expected that the interior of the sports car will receive a significant portion of updates, in particular, we are talking about a new infotainment system, like the new Aston Martin DB12, which debuted in the spring of 2023. Multimedia supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, has 4G connectivity, 3D maps for navigation, voice assistant, over-the-air update function and a 10.25-inch touchscreen.

There is no official information about the “filling” at the moment. The company only said that the new product will be the fastest Aston Martin Vantage. According to preliminary information, the model will be equipped with an upgraded version of the 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine developed by AMG. Let us remind you that the same engine is under the hood of the Mercedes-AMG SL 63, which was presented in the fall of 2021. It is worth noting that this engine demonstrates higher performance in the Aston Martin DB12. This model has a peak power of 680 hp and a maximum torque of 800 Nm. It is curious that these figures exceed the characteristics of the DB11 not only with a V8 engine, but also with a V12 (639 hp and 700 Nm).
Recall that at the end of last year it was reported that that Aston Martin may abandon the third-generation Vanquish mid-engined sports car project. It was expected that it would be based on the Vanquish Vision concept, which was shown at the Geneva Motor Show in the spring of 2019.
