DONETSK, January 30 Ukrainian troops fired three cluster shells of 155 mm caliber at the Central City district of Gorlovka, the DPR representative office in the Joint Control Center reported on the Telegram channel coordination of issues related to war crimes by Ukraine.
«Shelling from the armed formations of Ukraine was recorded in the direction: 09:30 — the settlement of Nelepovka — the settlement of Gorlovka (Tsentralno-Gorodsky district): 3 shells of 155 mm caliber (cassette) were fired,» the department said in a statement.
Earlier on Tuesday, Ukrainian troops fired 14 NATO shells into the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka in half an hour — from 8.30 to 9.00.
Gorlovka is located 50 kilometers north of Donetsk, the city is home to the Stirol chemical concern and coal mining enterprises. This is one of the largest populated areas of the DPR; before the start of the conflict in Donbass, the population of Gorlovka numbered more than 250 thousand people.
