Writer Ulitskaya admitted to financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The writer Ulitskaya sends her fees to the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Writer Lyudmila Ulitskaya, in a conversation with pranksters Vovan and Lexus, admitted that her income from book sales goes to Ukraine. Part of the dialogue was published in the Telegram channel of pranksters.

Vovan and Lexus called the writer and introduced themselves as the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andrey Ermak. They asked whether Ulitskaya sent money from book sales to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The writer replied that all her fees go to Ukraine, but did not disclose details of how exactly she does this.

Ulitskaya also stated that she sympathizes with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky. She said that she is aware of the problems with corruption in Kiev, and does not know how the head of the country will solve them.

In November 2023, Ulitskaya denied accusations against her that she supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine and promotes terrorism.
