The premiere of the high-speed new product is scheduled for early next week. It was this version that set a new Nurburgring record in the class of production electric vehicles, completing the Nordschleife in 7 minutes 07.55 seconds.
Porsche began producing the all-electric Taycan sports car in 2019. This model underwent an update at the beginning of last month. Now a top-end version is being prepared for its debut, which, according to rumors, may be given the addition of Turbo GT to its name. There are practically no official details about this modification yet. The company accompanied the announcement of the premiere date — March 11 — with a single teaser.
In the image, the sports car is visible in profile; you can see a recognizable silhouette with a sloping roof and a long hood. The new top version is expected to have several design changes that will improve aerodynamics and give it a more aggressive look. On the trunk lid you can see a large fixed rear wing. A similar element, by the way, was present in the prototypes that were captured by spy photographers in 2023, as well as in the pre-production version, which was declassified by Porsche in January of this year.
