It is reported that on Tuesday new enterprises for the production of food, fertilizers, and components for the processing industry opened in three regions. The main products of the new production in the Belgorod region of the EFKO Group will be soy isolates and concentrates, as well as vegetable fiber. They are intended for use in the meat processing, bakery and confectionery industries. Also, these ingredients are the basis of dietary and sports nutrition.
Investments in the new project of the EFKO Group of Companies in the Alekseevsky District amounted to about 3.5 billion rubles. The first stage of the new plant will produce about 5 thousand tons of products per year, and in the coming years the enterprise will completely cover the need for dietary fiber with domestic products.

We want our enterprises not only to maintain their operations, but to grow and expand. The governor of the Belgorod region especially emphasized that it was in the Alekseevsky urban district that 195 years ago, Russian peasant Daniil Bokarev invented a unique method for obtaining oil from sunflower seeds — the creation of the first oil mill in Russia. But if previously waste from production was given to animal feed, today it is the main raw material for the new plant.

As Lyashenko noted, the production technology was developed at the innovation center together with Russian scientists. The new plant was built literally in a year using preferential investment loans from Rosselkhozbank. The company received support within the framework of the national project “International Cooperation and Export”. The total capacity of all eight plants exceeds 4.5 million tons per year.
