MOSCOW, March 18 Capital archaeologists found almost 400 items from the 18th and 19th centuries in Khamovniki, including children's toys, dishes and jewelry, according to the website of the mayor and government of Moscow.
«Almost 400 objects dating back to the 18th-19th centuries were discovered by archaeologists on Usachevaya Street. Research was carried out on an area of more than five thousand square meters in 2022–2023. Among the artifacts found were children's toys, household items, jewelry, exquisite dishes, coins, pharmaceutical bottles and lipstick jars. All of them are now in the hands of restorers,” the message says. 
As reported on the website, among the finds are a silver ten-kopeck piece from 1789, body crosses made of non-ferrous metal, smoking pipes, coins, buttons, lead fillings, a bone comb, a porcelain doll, and an ashtray. In addition, the restorers almost completely restored a fairly large saucer with floral patterns, preserved and put in order leather boots from the 19th century.
«Over the past 12 years, the archaeological funds of the capital have been replenished with 100 thousand finds. Each of the ancient objects reflects a piece of the history of the city, tells about life, and also the traditions of entire generations of Muscovites,” summed up the website.
