A resident of St. Petersburg was detained at Pulkovo airport, the reason, presumably, was a post in social networks about the terrorist attack in Crocus.

According to publications in a number of media outlets, the detainee had previously left a comment on the social network about the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall. March 22. The statement contained indignation at what happened because the terrorist attack did not take place at one of the central government facilities.

According to Fontanka, the detainee is the husband of the general director of New Holland. On Monday, March 25, the top manager announced her resignation, explaining that she could no longer hold the position “due to the fact that a family member allowed himself monstrous statements incompatible with humanity.” She also stated that she sympathizes with the families of the victims of the terrorist attack, “but remains with her family.”

According to Fontanka, the person detained in Pulkovo planned to fly to Moscow and then go to Yerevan.

With reference to sources, the publication reports that law enforcement agencies see “signs of extremism” in the detainee’s posts, and are now “talking to him at the police department,” “The issue of initiating a criminal case is being decided.”
