Putin instructed the government to support manufacturers of scientific equipment

MOSCOW, March 26 Russian President Vladimir Putin, following a meeting of the Presidential Council for Science and Education on February 8, 2024, instructed to submit proposals for additional support for manufacturers of scientific instruments and equipment for government needs; the corresponding list of instructions is published on the Kremlin website.
«To the Government of the Russian Federation:.. submit proposals for the creation of additional mechanisms to support manufacturers of scientific instruments and equipment, components and consumables of Russian origin, participating in procurement to meet state and municipal needs, as well as the needs of certain types of legal entities «, the message says.
The deadline for execution of the order is July 1, 2024. Head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin has been appointed responsible for implementation.
