“Expedition” vehicles are distinguished by the presence of additional off-road equipment from the factory — that is, it no longer requires registration.
UAZ announced the resumption of production of cars in the special version “Expedition”, which was removed after the outbreak of well-known events. From April it will be possible to order special Hunter SUVs and the SGR model, that is, the “Loaf” (SGR is the name of the classic family). As before, off-road “extras” are installed immediately at the factory, so no extra registration steps are required.
Features of Hunter and “Loaf” in the “Expedition” version: power bumpers with towing loops and holes for a rack and pinion jack, additional protection for steering rods, expeditionary roof rack with wide supports (UAZ SGR also has a ladder), electric winch, Maxxis off-road tires, towing device and rear differential lock.
The “expeditionary” UAZ Hunter is also wheel arch extensions and power sills. A similar “Loaf” has a remote mount for transporting a spare wheel. In addition, both models include heated front seats.

Special UAZs will be painted in the Expedition’s signature bright orange color. At the same time, as noted in the company, the first batch of cars will be offered “in an exclusive metallic paint “Juicy Aperol””; subsequently, the basic versions will receive a similar non-metallic paint. And for such UAZs, for the first time, for an additional payment, it will be possible to choose the Raptor protective coating.
The price of the special version of the Loaf is 1,690,000 rubles, the “expeditionary” Hunter is 1,785,000 rubles.< /p>
