Foton Tunland G7 frame pickup truck offered in Russia with diesel engine and all-wheel drive

The return of the Chinese company Foton to our LCV market was announced last spring, at the same time the Tunland G7 frame pickup truck was announced for the Russian Federation. In the fall, it became known that JSC MB Rus, that is, the former division of Mercedes, which is now part of the Avtodom group, has undertaken to represent the interests of the manufacturer. The Russian company planned to start selling the G7 in December, but the official launch took place only now.

Recall that a 2019 model truck was brought to the Russian Federation: in its homeland, this model is also still in service, but there it bears the index F9. The pickup has a double-wishbone spring suspension at the front and a continuous axle on leaf springs at the rear. Tunland G7 has a two-row cab. In Russia, the pickup is available with a 2.0 turbodiesel with a power of 162 hp. and a classic eight-speed automatic transmission. Our model is offered exclusively with all-wheel drive (with rear differential lock).

Foton Tunland G7 is available in three trim levels. The list of basic equipment with the simple name Base includes: 18-inch wheels, fog lights, LED running lights, artificial leather seat upholstery, a multimedia system with an 8-inch touchscreen, a rear view camera, heated front seats, climate control, ESP and cruise control. control.

The “medium” version of Comfort includes a 10.25-inch multimedia tablet, auto-braking systems, lane marking monitoring and blind spot monitoring. The top-end Tunland G7 Premium also includes moldings on the doors, central locking of the rear tailgate, side airbags and curtain airbags, all-round cameras.
