MOSCOW, April 3, Andrey Senchenko. Sports director of the Omsk club Continental Hockey League (KHL) Avangard Evgeniy Zabuga told reporters about his interest in the services of striker Matvey Zaseda.
The 24-year-old forward’s contract with Spartak Moscow runs until April 30, 2024. In the 2023/24 season, Zaseda played 13 matches for the “red-whites” and scored 7 points (2 goals and 5 assists). His last game in the KHL took place on December 7, 2023, when the striker played against Sochi (4:3). Zaseda spent most of the season at Spartak's farm club in the All-Russian Hockey League – Khimik Voskresensk. In 36 regular season matches he scored 30 points (15+15), in 13 playoff games – 6 points (4+2).
