The official premiere of the refreshed mid-size truck will take place in a few days, on April 5. Then dealers will begin accepting orders for the new product.
The history of the Chevrolet S10 began back in 1981, since then the model has changed generations several times. The current version appeared in 2012: the Chevrolet Colorado intended for the American market began to be sold under it on the Brazilian market. In 2017, the truck underwent a major restyling, and later the model received several more less significant “facelifts.” Now the company has once again shown the updated Chevrolet S10.
The official premiere of the new product will take place at the end of this week, on April 5. On the same day, brand dealers in Brazil will begin collecting pre-orders. So far, the company has published a couple of exterior shots and one photo of the interior of the refreshed Chevrolet S10, as well as a video showing the exterior and interior of the pickup truck.
Judging by the images and video, the S10 update was inspired by the North American Colorado ( the third generation debuted in 2022 and went on sale at the beginning of last year). The restyled truck has got stampings on the hood, horizontally elongated head optics of a narrower shape and with a different pattern.

In addition, the car's foglights are now designed differently, the inscription with the brand name has disappeared from the front, and the two-story radiator grille has changed its shape and pattern: now it is made in the form of horizontal curved lines with chrome elements. The branding in the form of a classic “bow tie” is located in the center, on the bridge between the upper and lower parts of the grille.
The lower part of the rear bumper remained unchanged, but the design of the side was changed: just here there is no longer the Chevrolet logo, but there is a large inscription with the brand name. In addition, the vertical rear lights are designed differently. The pickup truck has not changed in profile; black roof rails remain.
During the update, the Chevrolet S10 received a new interior. The model was equipped with a different steering wheel, a different front panel with a large display that combines a virtual instrument panel and a touchscreen of the multimedia system. According to preliminary data, the diagonal of the first display is 8 inches, the second – 11 inches. The deflectors are designed differently, as well as the panel of physical buttons and “knobs” located under the multimedia.

There is practically no official information about the technology of the restyled Chevrolet S10 pickup truck. The company only noted that “one of the big surprises will be the new generation of turbodiesel engine.” It is expected that the model will be equipped with an upgraded version of a 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine, the output of which currently amounts to 200 hp. Also, according to unconfirmed reports, the engine will be paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, which will take the place of a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Prices for the refreshed Chevrolet S10 will be announced later. The current version in Brazil can be purchased for 247,860 – 302,990 reais (equivalent to approximately 4.52 – 5.53 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
