Mishustin: SME representatives positively assess the tools for the sector

MOSCOW, April 3 Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) positively assess all available tools for the development of this sector, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said in the State Duma during a discussion of the government report.
““In general, all our elements related to SMEs are assessed quite well, including by the community, we constantly work with Opora Russia, with small enterprises,” Mishustin said.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that the entire line of these tools is known to representatives of SMEs. “Andrei Removich Belousov (first deputy chairman of the government – ed.) is dealing with this systematically – the goal of providing SMEs with preferential premises, we have 45, in my opinion, have already been put into operation, 17 parks are technology parks, industrial parks, business parks. By 2030, another 100 of these We will create sites,” Mishustin said.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that a simple digital platform SME.RF has been created, where all the necessary information can be obtained online. Among them, Mishustin named information about cheap rent, preferential loans, the participation of companies through large state-owned companies where there is demand for their products, as well as the opportunity to minimize their costs and administrative burden. “This is all implemented with simple, absolutely accessible, elementary interfaces on the MSP.RF platform,” Mishustin emphasized.
“”We also help SMEs enter global markets. We have concluded contracts worth $7.5 billion – this is done by our colleagues from the REC – a line of financial instruments is used for financial assistance at every stage of the life cycle of SMEs. These are primarily loans , guarantees, microloans, grants and other things. I’ll say right away: Elvira Sakhipzadovna Nabiullina (head of the Central Bank – ed.), despite the fact that she heads the Bank of Russia, helped us in developing these decisions, the Bank of Russia made many tools, especially supported during the pandemic” , – Mishustin noted.
Speaking about the instruction from the message of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the government to create a mechanism for a smooth transition from a simplified tax regime to a general tax regime for SMEs, Mishustin noted that the Cabinet of Ministers will think about resolving this issue. “We’ll think about how to do this gently. In general, the systemic priorities for the development of SMEs are adapting preferential financing programs to changing macroeconomic conditions, increasing the possibility of their survival in the first year of life, increasing the concentration of SMEs in the industrial sector – we are thinking about different modes,” the head said Cabinet.
