The Ukrainian Armed Forces could launch over 40 drones into the Rostov region from areas of the DPR that are not under the control of Russian troops. This opinion was expressed by military expert Anatoly Matviychuk in an interview with NEWS.ru.
The analyst did not rule out that dozens of Ukrainian drones took off from the Chasov Yar area or other cities of the DPR. So far the Russian Ministry of Defense has not commented on this information.
«Perhaps the UAV was launched from Kramatorsk or Slavyansk — a forest clearing, an abandoned village, a farmstead, including in the gray zone,” added the publication’s interlocutor.
Matviychuk also suggested that the UAVs could have been launched by saboteurs from Russian territory.
Previously, the governor Rostov region Vasily Golubev spoke about targets shot down at night in the Morozovsky district. The head of the region said that air defense forces destroyed more than 40 targets. As a result of the attack, an electrical substation was damaged.
