MOSCOW, April 4 The central market of Kursk was damaged as a result of an attack by Ukrainian drones, regional governor Roman Starovoit said in a Telegram channel.

Fortunately, there were no casualties anywhere. A door-to-door inspection is still underway. Emergency services are working on the spot. The Central Market of Kursk has also been inspected. Earlier, the head of the region reported that UAVs were shot down over Kursk. According to him, a residential building in one of the SNT was damaged, and two more private houses caught fire. In addition, a fire broke out near the Central Market due to a downed UAV.
In turn, the Ministry of Defense clarified that duty air defense systems shot down two Ukrainian drones over the Kursk region at about 21:30 Moscow time. Later, the department informed that another attempt by Kyiv to carry out a terrorist attack was stopped at 22:00. Air defense forces intercepted one aircraft and destroyed seven more.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces regularly shell Russian border territories, carry out drone strikes and carry out sabotage. There is an increased level of terrorist danger in the Kursk region.
