MOSCOW, April 3 Serbian director Emir Kusturica is preparing to shoot a movie in the capital’s Moskino film park, according to the Telegram channel of the city’s culture department.
“”Just imagine: our Moskino cinema park, even at the stage of active construction, looks so promising that a world-famous director is already preparing to shoot his future films here,” the message says.
The department clarified that the Serbian director made a statement about filming a movie in the capital during an inspection of the Moskino film park complex.
““Kusturica especially liked the scenery of the airport and railway station,” the text clarified.
In August 2019, following a meeting with filmmakers, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin decided to create the Moskino film park – a complex of outdoor sites and other non-capital facilities for filming films. For this purpose, land plots were selected in the Krasnopakhorskoye settlement in New Moscow. In the future, the area of the cinema park is planned to be increased by 138 hectares – due to the adjacent territory.
