ROSTOV-ON-DON, April 7 An aircraft-type drone fell in Matveev Kurgan, Rostov region, no explosive devices were found on board, a regional government representative told reporters.
“This afternoon an aircraft-type UAV crashed in Matveev Kurgan,” he said, noting that no explosive devices were found on board.
According to the Ministry of Defense, Russian air defense systems shot down 44 Ukrainian drones over the territory of the Rostov region on Friday night. As the regional governor specified, the targets were destroyed in the Morozovsky district of the region. As a result of the attack, an electrical substation was damaged and the power supply was disrupted. Later, during investigative actions at the site where the drones fell, an explosive device detonated on one of the fallen UAVs. According to preliminary data from the governor, eight people were injured.
