RYAZAN, April 8 The Ryazan state television and radio broadcasting company «Oka» denied data about the hacking of its broadcast and the showing of a video on the news with threats against paratroopers.
The Ryazan online publication www.ya62.ru on Monday published a video provided by a reader. The footage shows a TV screen showing news from the Ryazan edition on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, which are interrupted by a video with photographs of paratroopers and threatening text.
On the Oka State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company page on the VKontakte social network, a release with news that was allegedly interrupted was published, dated April 5. The published release does not contain any threatening sidebars.
«Fake. We (video with threats — ed.) did not have it,» the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company reported. The agency's interlocutor clarified that she checked the episode on rewind of her TV, and the video was not there. In addition, according to her, there is a video from the control room, which also does not have an insert. She did not rule out that the video with the insert was edited.
The company plans to contact law enforcement agencies.
