Earlier, the head of the region, Vadim Shumkov, introduced a high alert regime in the region on April 5; the threat of flooding exists for more than 60 settlements. According to the forecast of the State Emergency Management Agency for the flood period, 62 settlements, 4,300 houses, 5,550 household plots, 600 summer cottages may be flooded in the region, and 18,718 people may fall into the emergency zone.
