The bumpers will also be retouched. The dimensions most likely will not change much. The length of the current European crossover is 4425 mm, the wheelbase is 2665 mm. The interior will be updated with a virtual instrumentation and multimedia system. In addition, finishing materials can be replaced.

There is no information yet about whether the equipment will be updated. In Europe, the main focus is on hybrids; the current Nissan Qashqai has two such versions. “Simple” crossovers are mild hybrid, with a 1.3 petrol turbo-four (140 or 158 hp), a 12-volt starter-generator and a compact lithium-ion battery. Expensive options have a proprietary e-Power system: a 1.5 petrol turbo engine (157 hp) is not connected to the wheels, it works only as a generator, while the front wheels are driven by a 190-horsepower electric motor.
