Director of the Total Dictation Foundation Vyacheslav Belyakov clarified that the project has been facing attacks since 2016, but this year’s situation turned out to be the most widespread.
“The attackers who are preparing these actions, for obvious reasons, choose dates that are critical for the project: the start of registration or the day of the “Total Dictation”. It is difficult to say who is doing this and for what purpose. But regardless of who is doing this and why, this is harm that is caused not only to the project, but also to hundreds of thousands of people around the world who are waiting for the action, preparing for it, worrying about their results. I want to say the only thing: the action will take place in any case, no matter what it costs us “- said Belyakov, his words are quoted in the message.
It is noted that attempts to attack the site’s infrastructure continue, technical services have been working for the second day to fix problems and restore the correct operation of the promotion site, and the organizers admit that they are making every effort to open registration, but cannot announce a specific date and time.
