According to him, the film crew did not stop filming during the shelling and assisted in the evacuation of the wounded. “Our guys showed themselves with dignity, they continued to work even when shells arrived. All the footage was filmed: both the moment of arrival and the moment of injury. The operator did not abandon his security equipment, the correspondent also covered him, and at the same time they helped to evacuate the wounded who happened to be there nearby.” , — noted the head of VGTRK «Lugansk».
According to Dolgachev, wounded cameraman Denis Shum is currently undergoing surgery in a military hospital in Lugansk, and a shrapnel is being removed from his leg. After some time, he can be transferred to outpatient treatment.
