MOSCOW, April 9 Honored Artist of Russia, wild animal trainer Andrei Klykov died at the age of 57, according to the website of the Russian State Circus.
“”Honored Artist of Russia, famous wild animal trainer, head of the show “A la Russe” Andrei Viktorovich Klykov passed away on April 9. In September 2024 he would have turned 58 years old… During his professional career, Andrei Viktorovich was repeatedly awarded with high state awards: the honorary title “Honored Artist of the Russian Federation”, the Order “For Service to Russia”, the medal “For Faith and Goodness,” the message says.
The management, trade union committee and staff of the Russian State Circus expressed condolences to family and friends Andrei Klykov.
“The bright memory of an outstanding artist and person will forever remain in the hearts of spectators and employees of the Russian State Circus Company,” the message clarifies.
The date and place of the funeral will be announced later.
